While the "cheapest" title can vary depending on the season and specific deals, Blanes is definitely a great option if you're looking for affordability without compromising on charm. @Mangozoom Thank you for the response and explanation. I have been to about 10 places now from Fuengirola to Lloret de mar. This year, we went to Salou, and i wouldn't recommend it at all. Way too, tourists based. We basically went to the neighbouring towns on each side, which were beautiful. For 12 nights half board family of 4 it was just short of 3k but having to eat out for lunch every day and go out every night it was expensive ( well I think) I took 3k euro and had €270 left when we came back. Add to that around another £500 sterling we spent on card for activities. We both thought it was a very expensive holiday after paying for half board. Gone are the days (without kids) we would get all-inclusive for 6 nights for £350 each, and you brought change back from €500 spending money 😥

Lloret de Mar is such a fantastic spot! I'm glad to hear you had an amazing time there last September. Route 66 is definitely a great place to eat; their food is top-notch! It's a shame you won't be able to make it this year, but there's always next year to look forward to. Hope you have a wonderful time when you do get back there!
